The most beautiful artistic cities are all accessible easily: Perugia, with Umbria's splendid National Gallery is at 35 kilometers; Orvieto, with the magnificent “Duomo” containing the “Giudizio Universale” of Luca Signorelli is at about the same distance; Assisi, homeland of San Francesco, with the impressive Monte Subasio, is at only 40 kilometers; Spoleto, Foligno and Bevagna, each one offering plenty of beauty and authenticity, are all reachable within 30-50 kilometers from the houses.
In addition, the territory is rich in fascinating sites dating from the Roman as well as the paleochristian periods.
